Murder in Kasimedu Main Accused Arrested After Fatal Quarrel

A 32-year-old man, V. Kumaran, was tragically killed in a dispute that escalated into violence on Tuesday night in Kasimedu. Kumaran, a resident of Kasimedu who had come to the city to celebrate the New Year and was set to marry in a week, met his untimely death following a quarrel with three individuals, including the juvenile, on a street.

The incident unfolded when Kumaran, riding his two-wheeler, was stopped by three men, including the prime suspect, P. Saravanan. The altercation began over a disagreement involving a group of women who were drawing traditional kolams on the road. The argument turned violent, with the confrontation leading to Kumaran’s tragic death.

Kasimedu police quickly filed a case and, following a thorough investigation, arrested Saravanan, the main accused in the case. The police are also continuing their investigation, with a juvenile reportedly involved in the incident.

The death of V. Kumaran has left his family devastated, especially as he was preparing for his wedding. The authorities are taking appropriate action as the case continues to unfold.
