NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) – Early Wednesday morning, Nacogdoches police, supported by the Nacogdoches Combined SWAT team, carried out a series of arrest and search warrants at an apartment in the 1400 block of Dolph Street. Two suspects were arrested without incident as part of an ongoing investigation into a string of aggravated robberies.
Among those arrested was 19-year-old Zykedrick Mosley, from Nacogdoches, who faces charges of aggravated robbery and engaging in organized criminal activity. Herbert Mosley, 45, also from Nacogdoches, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Both were transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail for processing.
Shortly after these arrests, officers executed additional warrants at a residence on Spokane St. at approximately 10 a.m. This raid was also related to the investigation of multiple robberies and stolen firearms. Officers apprehended two adults and a juvenile from Nacogdoches without incident. The adults, 17-year-old Jalin Crane and 25-year-old Arterius Griffin, were taken into custody. Crane faces charges of engaging in organized criminal activity, while Griffin is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
Several firearms were seized during the search. Additionally, 18-year-old Marquise Damon Reagan was arrested later that day on a warrant for aggravated robbery. Another suspect, 20-year-old Teon Thomas, was apprehended on warrants for theft of a firearm and evading arrest or detention.
The Nacogdoches Police Department extended gratitude to the Nacogdoches Combined SWAT Team, NPD Investigators, the Nacogdoches Sheriff’s Department, the ATF, HSI, and Nacogdoches Adult Probation for their assistance in the investigation.
As of the latest update, law enforcement officials are actively searching for two suspects, 18-year-old Jeramiah Matthew and 18-year-old Zykerion Washington. Both are wanted for aggravated robbery and engaging in organized criminal activity.
