Mount Pleasant Police Arrest Two Men for Shoplifting

Mount Pleasant Police have arrested two individuals in connection with a shoplifting incident that took place on Wednesday afternoon. Correy Sheldon Chaine McCullough, 30, faces charges of shoplifting and obtaining goods by false pretenses. Derrick Lamont Antonio Niles, 29, was also charged with shoplifting. Additionally, Niles was wanted by another law enforcement agency for three counts of indecent exposure and trespassing after notice.

According to Sgt. Ashley Croy, the arrests followed a detailed investigation, with both men now facing legal consequences for their alleged involvement in the theft. Niles’s prior charges further complicate his situation, adding to the gravity of his arrest.
