Monjah James-Wooten Arrested for Shooting at Wendy’s Drive-Thru

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A Louisville man, Monjah James-Wooten, 25, was arrested in connection with a shooting at a Wendy’s drive-thru on January 6, 2025, following a dispute with a woman in her 20s.

According to Louisville Metro Police, James-Wooten was involved in an argument with the victim in the drive-thru lane of the Wendy’s located on Dixie Highway. After the altercation, both parties entered the restaurant. The confrontation continued outside, where James-Wooten allegedly shot the woman as she was leaving the building.

The woman was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and authorities arrested James-Wooten shortly after. Police are continuing their investigation into the shooting incident.
