In a significant breakthrough, Mohali police have arrested the prime accused, Mohit Kumar, in connection with the murder of a 23-year-old woman, Mitali. The police also seized a Hyundai i20, which is believed to have been used in the crime. The authorities have intensified their search efforts to apprehend the remaining suspects.
SSP Deepak Pareek confirmed that the arrest followed a swift response to a complaint filed by Mitali’s family. The police acted quickly, leading to Mohit’s apprehension along with the vehicle used in the crime. An FIR has been registered under charges of murder, and investigations are ongoing as police work to track down the other individuals involved.
