The South Zone team of the Commissioner’s Task Force, in coordination with local police, arrested four persons involved in the illegal procurement and distribution of drugs including mephentermine sulphate injections, alprazolam tablets, and ganja.
Among the arrested is Mohd Imran alias Kala Imran, who was found with 110 vials of mephentermine sulphate injections, 60 alprazolam tablets, and three kilograms of ganja. The seizures followed a series of raids across Hyderabad where the accused were selling these substances at inflated prices.
The total estimated value of the seized drugs is Rs3.2 lakh. Further investigations are underway to dismantle the distribution network.
