Mirchowk Police Arrest Two Burglars for Stealing Gold and Cash

The Mirchowk police successfully arrested two burglars involved in stealing gold ornaments and cash from a house a week ago.

The accused have been identified as Mohammed Noor Hassan (33) from Noor Khan Bazaar and Hussain Ansari (23) from Dabeerpura. On February 4, the duo broke into the house of Mohd Imran in the Kali Khabar area. After entering the house, they forcefully broke the door lock and stole a box containing valuable gold ornaments and cash.

ACP Mirchowk, NSSV Venkateshwar Rao, confirmed the details of the crime, adding that the suspects were identified after the police examined CCTV footage from the area. Upon being detained, the suspects confessed to the crime during interrogation, and the stolen items were recovered.

The two burglars have been arrested and remanded in judicial custody as investigations continue.
