Midland Man Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges

Jovan Paul Thomas, 29, of Midland, was arrested on Thursday, January 16, by the Midland County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit after a search in the 1000 block of West I-20 uncovered significant amounts of illegal drugs and a firearm.

During the investigation, deputies seized methamphetamine, ecstasy (MDMA), and a handgun from Thomas. As a result, he was charged with two counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Thomas is currently being held at the Midland County Detention Center. The case is ongoing as authorities continue their investigation into drug activity in the area.
