Michael W. Dowdy Arrested in Murray for Drug Trafficking

MURRAY, Ky. – Michael W. Dowdy, 50, of Murray, was arrested Thursday, Feb. 21, 2025, on multiple drug-related charges. Dowdy faces accusations of trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a home visit by deputies and Probation and Parole officers.

During the visit, authorities discovered illicit drugs and items commonly associated with drug trafficking activities. Dowdy was arrested and booked into the Calloway County Detention Center, facing the following charges:

Trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree
Possession of methamphetamine, 2nd offense, less than 2 grams (Class C felony)
Possession of drug paraphernalia
