The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office made another arrest in a significant drug bust in Owensboro. Michael Hollingworth, Jr. was arrested Thursday after deputies found him in possession of methamphetamine, a loaded gun, and over a pound of marijuana. This follows the arrests of Frankie Johnson and MaryAnn Taylor earlier in the week.
Last week, deputies executed a search warrant at a property on Gunther Avenue, uncovering a large quantity of drugs and illegal items. Authorities found meth, marijuana, digital scales, syringes, glass pipes, and more. Both Johnson and Taylor, alongside Hollingworth, face multiple charges related to the possession and distribution of illegal substances.
This case highlights ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to address drug-related crimes in the region.
