Miami Police Officer Arrested on Domestic Assault and Theft Charges

Miami police officer Landon Corbus has been arrested on charges of domestic assault and theft, according to a probable cause statement from Lawrence County, Missouri. The statement alleges that Corbus picked up a woman and slammed her down in a laundry room, causing her glasses to stab her in the eye.

The victim also reported that Corbus held her in a closet, shook her, and demanded she listen. Additionally, she claimed that he took her phone and refused to return it.

Jail records indicate that Corbus is being held without bond on charges of third-degree domestic assault and theft of property valued at $750 or more.
