Police arrested Mehrunisha, an employee of a local firm, along with her paramour Qutubuddin Attar of Kamri Marg, for stealing Rs 7.5 lakh from the company. The stolen money was recovered during the arrests.
The company owner, Trilokchand Jain, filed a complaint after noticing the cash missing from the firm and raised suspicion against Mehrunisha. Following an investigation, police found that Mehrunisha had stolen the amount and handed it over to Qutubuddin.
Both accused were taken into custody, and the stolen funds were retrieved from their possession. The police continue to investigate the case.
