Court documents reveal that McCaine and Hines were listed among the distributors in Southall’s drug ledgers, highlighting their involvement in a cocaine distribution network in Mobile. Investigators uncovered that McCaine and Hines had received multiple kilograms of cocaine for distribution.

In 2021 and 2022, federal and state authorities arrested Southall and other members of the organization, with about 30 individuals facing prosecution in federal court to date.

After sentencing Hines to 75 months in prison, U.S. District Judge Kristi K. Dubose imposed a five-year probation period upon his release.

McCaine, sentenced to 10 years in prison, also had his probation from a prior drug conviction revoked. Additionally, he was ordered to serve 37 months of imprisonment, which will run consecutively with his drug conspiracy sentence. Upon release, McCaine will be placed on 10 years of probation.

Prosecutors confirmed that any property interests McCaine and Hines had in seized assets would be forfeited to the United States government.

In 2022, Southall received a 35-year sentence for his role in the drug conspiracy and escape convictions.
