A 25-year-old Chicago man, Maxwell Antonian, was arrested on December 31, 2024, after being charged with eight felony counts of retail theft. The charges stem from incidents that took place at a North Side store between August 5 and September 2, 2024.
According to the Chicago police, Antonian stole from the same store multiple times over the course of a month in the 3100 block of N. Clark St. After a thorough investigation, he was taken into custody at the 900 block of W. Addison St.
Antonian is scheduled to appear in court for a detention hearing on January 1, 2025, where additional updates are expected to follow.
