A Bradenton man, who has worked as a massage therapist in the Sarasota and Miami areas, was arrested on Friday for allegedly inappropriately touching several clients during their sessions.
Juan Carlos Fleitas-Tamayo, 53, faces charges of sexual battery, according to the Sarasota Police Department. Investigators report that several victims came forward with claims that Fleitas-Tamayo touched them inappropriately during their massages.
Fleitas-Tamayo had been employed at various massage offices in both Sarasota and Miami, and all local offices in the Sarasota area have fully cooperated with the ongoing investigation. Sarasota police believe there may be more victims who have not yet come forward.
Authorities are urging anyone who may have been affected or who has information related to this case to contact the Sarasota Police Department.
