HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA. – The Lower Moreland Police Department has arrested 27-year-old Martina Meija Garcia for identity theft after she attempted to pick up a fraudulent package at the CVS retail store located at 670 Welsh Road in Huntingdon Valley.
On February 3, 2025, a fraud victim reported receiving a series of emails from Verizon regarding an order placed under their name, which included two Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max models. The victim did not have an account with Verizon, and the order was set to be shipped to a CVS Pharmacy in Huntingdon Valley.
The next day, Garcia arrived at the CVS to pick up the package, presenting a fake New Jersey Driver’s License. Police were notified and secured the package containing the iPhones. Garcia was later arrested after admitting to the charges.
She has been charged with identity theft, theft by deception, and providing false identification to law enforcement.
Additionally, Latajsha Monay Weems, 26, was arrested on February 4 for stealing multiple items from the same CVS store.
