South Bend, Ind. (WNDU) – Three men were arrested early Sunday morning following a burglary at the Hilti Distribution Center and a police chase that ended in a crash, according to authorities.

South Bend police responded to a business alarm just before 6 a.m. at the Hilti Distribution Center on Olive Road. Upon arrival, officers saw a U-Haul truck leaving the scene. When police attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver fled at high speed, leading officers on a chase down U.S. 20.

The pursuit ended when the U-Haul crashed near Rosewood Road in St. Joseph County. Three men exited the truck and ran into a wooded area, but officers quickly apprehended all suspects.

The men were identified as:

Marquell Strickland (26)
Darvel Grady (22)
Areon Halloway (22)
Police searched the back of the U-Haul and recovered stolen tools valued at over $61,000, confirmed by Hilti employees.

All three suspects were booked into the St. Joseph County Jail and are awaiting formal charges from the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office.
