Mark Watson, David & Martin White Arrested in Moorhead Drug Bust

Three men are behind bars following a months-long drug investigation in Moorhead, Minnesota. The suspects—Mark Watson of Moorhead, and David and Martin White of St. Paul—were arrested on felony drug charges for possession and distribution.

The investigation began in July after law enforcement learned that an organization had been transporting illegal drugs from the Twin Cities to Moorhead. On Tuesday, investigators intercepted two of the suspects in a vehicle as they approached Moorhead. During the stop, authorities seized methamphetamine and fentanyl.

A search warrant executed later in Moorhead led to the discovery of additional drugs, including meth, fentanyl, and hallucinogenic mushrooms. In total, authorities seized 215 grams of meth, 28 grams of fentanyl powder, 342 fentanyl pills, and four grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms. Along with the drugs, a collection of rare coins and approximately $1,450 in cash were also confiscated. The street value of the drugs is estimated to be around $20,000.

The men are currently being held in Clay County Jail. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to dismantle the trafficking operation.

This arrest serves as a significant blow to drug distribution efforts in the region, with local law enforcement continuing to prioritize the battle against fentanyl and methamphetamine trafficking
