Mark Strong Sr. Charged Again in Prostitution Bust in Rockland
Mark Strong Sr., a Maine man previously convicted in 2013 for his role in operating a prostitution business out of a Zumba studio in Kennebunk, has been charged once more in a prostitution case in Rockland. Strong, now 69 and from Thomaston, was among 11 men arrested for allegedly engaging in prostitution at the Asian Massage parlor, which was raided by Rockland police in December 2024.
The raid followed suspicions of sex trafficking and connections to organized crime. Authorities discovered the massage business, which had relocated from Waldoboro, had ties to human trafficking networks in New York.
Other men arrested in connection with the bust include:
Richard Generazio, 64, of Owls Head
Christopher Mitchell, 41, of Lincolnville
Christopher Felicetti, 62, of Washington
Bruce Liljegren, 78, of Thomaston
Randy Bouchard, 62, of South Thomaston
Michael Graves, 65, of Rockport
William Heiden, 39, of Rockland
Joseph Cady, 50, of Palermo
Neal Shepard, 71, of Cushing
Stanley Carlton, 65, of Owls Head
The investigation is still ongoing, with authorities continuing to explore the potential links to human trafficking and organized crime operations.
In 2013, Mark Strong Sr. served 20 days in jail after being convicted for assisting fitness instructor Alexis Wright in running the prostitution ring at her Zumba studio in Kennebunk.
