Mark Robinson Arrested for Package Theft in Hoxie, Ark

HOXIE, Ark. — Mark Robinson, 26, was arrested on Monday in connection with a package theft reported on Thursday, Feb. 20 in the Last Chance area of Hoxie.

Officer Charles Adams responded to the theft report and reviewed surveillance footage, working alongside Captain Hill to begin the investigation. Authorities quickly identified Robinson as a person of interest. A warrant for his arrest was authorized by Judge Alex Biggers early Monday morning.

With help from the Pocahontas Police Department, officers brought Robinson to the Hoxie Police Department for questioning. During a post-Miranda interview, Robinson allegedly made incriminating statements, leading to his arrest.

Robinson was booked at the Lawrence County Detention Center on charges including Theft of Property, Criminal Trespassing, and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.

The Hoxie Police Department expressed appreciation to the community for its role in providing information that helped solve the case.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
