Marietta Woman Arrested for Drug Possession After Traffic Stop

On October 26, 2024, deputies from the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on County Road 7000, which led to the arrest of Cecilia Christina Norigenna, 33, from Marietta. During the stop, deputies reportedly found drugs in Norigenna’s possession, leading to her immediate arrest.

Norigenna was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Prentiss County Judge Ray Hall set her bond at $5,000. According to authorities, her case is scheduled to go before a Prentiss County Grand Jury for further proceedings.
