Marcus Turner Arrested in Marshall for String of Home Burglaries

MARSHALL, Texas (KLTV) – Marcus Turner, 42, was arrested on March 5, 2025, in connection with multiple home burglaries in Marshall, Texas.

According to Marshall Police Chief Cliff Carruth, officers executed a warrant at a residence in the 600 block of Medill Street, where Turner was taken into custody.

Charges Against Turner:
Burglary of a habitation
Possession of a controlled substance
Possession of marijuana
Outstanding warrant from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office for drug possession
During the search, officers discovered stolen property, including:

Jewelry
A wallet with credit cards and a passport belonging to other individuals
Clothing
Computer equipment and gaming systems
These items were linked to several burglaries in the area near Turner’s home.

Additionally, drugs were found within a designated drug-free zone, leading to potential enhanced charges.

“This arrest highlights the dedication of our officers in solving property crimes and returning stolen belongings to their rightful owners,” said Chief Carruth.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine if Turner is connected to other burglaries in the region.
