BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Two alleged drug traffickers, Marcus Marshall, 41, and Reginald Clemons, 30, were arrested Thursday after a SWAT team seized a large quantity of narcotics from their vehicle and home in Boynton Beach.

At approximately 5 a.m., officers from the Boynton Beach Police Department’s SWAT team executed a search warrant at Marshall’s residence, located near the intersection of Boynton Beach Blvd. and Florida State Road 9. Upon arrival, officers discovered Clemons asleep in a Dodge Charger outside the house. When they woke him, he identified himself and allowed them to search his vehicle after officers detected the odor of marijuana. Inside, they found over six grams of crack cocaine, nine grams of marijuana, oxycodone pills, two grams of cocaine, half a gram of fentanyl, a gram of MDMA, two cell phones, and over $1,000 in cash.

With Clemons detained, the SWAT team proceeded to search the home, where they found Marshall hiding in a closet. During their search of the house, officers uncovered significant quantities of illegal drugs, including:

10 capsules of blue fentanyl and 2.3 grams of brown fentanyl
13.4 grams of crack cocaine
58 grams of cocaine
26.5 grams of methamphetamine
8.5 grams of Alprazolam
877 grams of marijuana
Additionally, officers discovered various drug distribution tools, including baggies, caps, digital scales, cutting agents, and $2,398 in cash. A Marlin .22 caliber rifle with no serial number was also recovered during the raid.

Clemons was booked on four counts of possession with intent to sell cocaine, fentanyl, MDMA, and oxycodone within 1,000 feet of a park. Marshall was booked on charges of trafficking fentanyl and cocaine, possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a park, trafficking in phenethylamines under 200 grams, possession of Alprazolam with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a park, and resisting arrest without violence.

This operation marks a significant victory in efforts to curb drug trafficking in the area, with both men now facing serious drug charges.
