Marcus Andre Lackey Arrested for Drug Trafficking in Rome, GA

Rome, GA – Marcus Andre Lackey, 42, of Rome, was arrested this week after GBI investigators discovered he was trafficking illegal drugs from his home.

On a search of Lackey’s residence at 275 Old Calhoun Road, investigators uncovered over a kilogram of methamphetamine, significant amounts of marijuana and crack cocaine, and digital scales commonly used for drug distribution.

Lackey faces multiple charges, including possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, distribution of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, drug trafficking, and probation violation. Authorities are continuing their efforts to disrupt illegal drug activity in the area.
