Marco Orona, Oscar Granados Arrested in Denver I-25 Shooting

DENVER — Two men, identified as 20-year-old Marco Orona and 18-year-old Oscar Granados, have been arrested following a suspected road rage shooting on Interstate 25, which injured another man on Saturday morning.

Adams County Sheriff’s Office reported the incident just before 6 a.m. and began investigating near the I-25 and U.S. 36 intersection. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities quickly located potential suspects in a vehicle linked to the shooting, ultimately leading to the arrest of Orona and Granados.

The incident closed three northbound lanes on I-25, as well as the ramp from I-25 to westbound I-270, while deputies processed the scene. Roads reopened shortly after 8 a.m., though drivers were advised to use alternative routes until then.
