Manjinder Singh Bura and Sukhdeep Singh Brar Arrested in $5M Cargo Theft Scheme

Peel Regional Police have arrested two individuals in connection to an ongoing investigation involving more than $5 million in stolen cargo. The thefts, which took place between December 2024 and January 2025, involved several trailers filled with freight that were stolen by a transportation company known as All Days Trucking.

As a result of an extensive investigation, police identified 41-year-old Manjinder Singh Bura, the owner of Bura Limited in Brampton, as being involved in these crimes. Bura was initially arrested on February 19. A search of a property in Nobleton, Ontario, conducted on February 26, led to the recovery of additional stolen property. Police also discovered the involvement of two other companies: Velocity Logistics and Torque Logistics.

On April 3, Sukhdeep Singh Brar, a 28-year-old from Brampton, was arrested. He faces multiple charges, including theft over $5,000, fraud over $5,000, and possession of property obtained by crime. Bura, who was arrested in February, has been re-arrested and now faces the same charges.

Both men are being held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton. The charges have not yet been proven in court.
