Manjeshwar Police Arrest Four in MDMA Smuggling Bust

Manjeshwar police have successfully arrested four individuals involved in drug smuggling activities in the region. The accused were caught during a raid near Paivalike Bayikatt, where police seized a total of 29.4 grams of MDMA from the suspects.

The arrested individuals include Mohammad Ashraf (21), Sayyad Nawaz (30), Mohammad Ishaq (20), and Ahmed Shammas (20), all from the Bantwal area. According to the authorities, the suspects were allegedly part of a drug trafficking network.

The operation was conducted after receiving reliable information about the smuggling activities in the region. Police acted swiftly to apprehend the suspects and recover the illicit drugs, preventing a potential distribution of dangerous substances.

The case has been registered under the relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Investigations are ongoing to determine the extent of the network and uncover any further individuals involved.
