Manish Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan Arrested for Job Scam in Vaishali

Two individuals, Manish Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan, have been apprehended by the Kaushambi police for allegedly defrauding a jobseeker of Rs 3 lakh by promising employment in Azerbaijan. The arrests followed a complaint filed by Dakshinanchal Kumar, a resident of Vaishali Sector-3, on December 19.

Acting swiftly on the tip-off, the Kaushambi police used CCTV footage and manual leads to track down the suspects in Vaishali. The accused were identified as 34-year-old Manish Kumar from Tughlakabad, Delhi, and 24-year-old Shah Rukh Khan from Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.

ACP Indirapuram, Swatantra Kumar Singh, confirmed that Manish Kumar admitted to operating Jai Ambey Enterprises in Vaishali Sector-1, where he and his accomplice Shah Rukh Khan allegedly offered non-existent job opportunities in Gulf countries. During the arrest, police recovered 22 fake passports, identity cards, and other incriminating documents.

Both men are currently in police custody, and investigations are ongoing.
