Manipur Police Arrest Two Women with 308 Grams of Heroin

Manipur Police arrested two women on Monday for possessing 308.15 grams of heroin packed in 25 soap cases. The women were apprehended at Sagolband Salam Leikai in Imphal West, along National Highway-37.

The arrested individuals were identified as Babycha (30) and Dolaipabam Sahani (25), both residents of Mayang Imphal Bengoon Yangbi in Imphal West. They were caught while traveling in a passenger service vehicle, a Tata Cruiser.

The heroin was carefully concealed in soap cases, and the police seized the drugs during a routine check. An investigation into the case is ongoing.
