The Bajpe police have arrested Ummar Farooq (38) from Thokur village and Mohammed Abdul Junaid (34) from Bajpe on charges of drug peddling. The police seized 9.11 grams of MDMA, a synthetic narcotic drug, worth Rs50,000 from their possession.
The two suspects were arrested as part of an ongoing effort to curb drug trafficking in the region. Further investigation is ongoing to uncover additional details about their involvement in drug distribution.
