Mangaluru Police Arrest Three and Seize Narcotics Worth Rs9 Lakh

Mangaluru City Police arrested three individuals and seized narcotic drugs worth Rs9 lakh that were intended for a New Year party in the city. The arrests took place after a successful operation by the Kavoor police.

The arrested individuals were identified as Devaraj (37) from Udyavara, Mohammed Parvez Ummar (25) from Kinni Mulki, and Sheikh Tahim (20) from Brahmagiri, all in Udupi. The police operation successfully intercepted the drugs, preventing them from reaching the intended destination for the celebration.

Authorities continue to investigate the source of the narcotics and their planned distribution, as part of their ongoing efforts to curb the drug trade in the region.
