Mangaluru Police Arrest 2 for Cheating Investor of Rs28.18 Lakh

The Mangaluru Police have arrested two individuals involved in an elaborate scam that defrauded an investor of over Rs28.18 lakh. The accused, identified as Amir Suhail from Neelasandra in Bengaluru and Suhail Ahmed Wani from Ananthnag district in Jammu and Kashmir, promised substantial returns on investments that never materialized.

The fraudsters lured the victim with assurances of high profits, leading the individual to invest the significant sum. However, after the payments were made, the promised returns never came, and the investor soon realized they had been deceived.

Following the victim’s complaint, Mangaluru Police launched an investigation, ultimately leading to the arrest of Suhail and Wani. The police are continuing their efforts to uncover more details about the scam and potential accomplices involved.
