SHERWOOD, Ore. — Adrian Cooper, 36, of Wilsonville, turned himself in to the Sherwood Police Department on Thursday after being wanted for allegedly stealing over $1.2 million in equipment from his employer, Okonite Manufacturing.
Cooper, a former warehouse manager at the company, reportedly took reels of cable, marked them as damaged inventory, and resold them for cash. The theft, which began in April 2024, was discovered after video footage showed Cooper loading stolen items onto tractor trailers.
An arrest warrant was issued for Cooper in October, and he was indicted on 10 counts of first-degree aggravated theft and two counts of unauthorized use of a vehicle. After being fired from Okonite Manufacturing, Cooper’s whereabouts remained unknown until his self-surrender on Thursday.
