Man Arrested in Moore County for Vehicle Theft and Felony Charges

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields reported the arrest of Brandon Bowers, 40, following the recovery of a stolen vehicle in a neighboring county. The investigation began on March 30 after a vehicle was reported stolen from Southern Pines. Authorities located the vehicle in early May. Bowers, from Raeford, faces charges including felony breaking or entering, vehicle larceny, possession of stolen property, obtaining property by false pretense, and habitual felon status. Bowers, with a bond set at $10,000, is scheduled to appear in court on May 10.
