Man Arrested in Coimbatore for Stealing Gold from Tenant’s House

In a shocking incident, Krishnakumar, 45, was arrested by the Saravanampatty Police for allegedly stealing 4.6 sovereigns of gold jewellery from the house of his tenant. The theft was discovered after a spy camera captured him entering the tenant’s property using a spare key.

Krishnakumar had rented the first floor of his house in Kumaran Nagar, Ganapathy, to S. Sreehari, an IT professional, and his wife S. Karpagavalli, a private bank employee, seven months ago. Krishnakumar lived on the ground floor with his family.

The gold jewellery, belonging to the tenants, went missing, and they suspected foul play. After installing a spy camera to monitor the situation, they caught Krishnakumar in the act of stealing. Police took swift action based on the evidence captured and arrested the accused.

Further investigations are ongoing to determine if this theft was part of a larger pattern of criminal activity. The police have advised landlords and tenants to be cautious and to ensure that all security measures are in place to prevent such crimes.
