Man Arrested for Kasaragod Court Complex Break-in

A man wanted in multiple theft cases, including a recent break-in at the Kasaragod court complex, was arrested in Angamaly, Ernakulam. The accused, identified as Sanil alias Sanish George from Kozhikode, was apprehended after a daring attempt to steal from the district court’s record room.

According to Kasaragod District Police Chief P. Bijoy, the incident took place early on Sunday morning when George tried to break into the court’s record room. The theft was thwarted when an alarm went off after security personnel heard a noise, prompting George to flee the scene. During his escape, he was found carrying a steel rod.

The police tracked George to Angamaly, where he was arrested and taken into custody. He is now facing charges for the attempted theft at the Kasaragod court as well as other ongoing investigations into multiple thefts.
