Man Arrested for Attempted Motorcycle Theft in Playa del Carmen

PLAYA DEL CARMEN, Q.R. – A man was arrested by police in Playa del Carmen for attempting to steal a motorcycle in the Gonzalo Guerrero neighborhood. Officers patrolling the area observed 31-year-old José Alejandro “N” using a hammer and screwdriver to tamper with the motorcycle.

After his attempt to steal the motorcycle failed, he proceeded to drag it away from its parking spot. Police quickly intervened and, upon checking the motorcycle’s registration, discovered it was registered to another person.

José Alejandro “N”, a resident of Quintana Roo, was arrested and taken into custody for the crime of vehicle theft. Authorities continue with the legal proceedings following the incident.
