Malvin Fajardo-Perez Arrested for Valentine’s Day Road Rage Shooting

Malvin Ariel Fajardo-Perez was arrested on Valentine’s Day after being involved in a road rage shooting in Cartersville, Georgia. The incident occurred around 4:10 p.m. on February 14 near Highway 113 and Euharlee Road. Officers from the Cartersville Police Department responded to the scene, where they found a vehicle with a shattered window and a victim who had sustained facial lacerations from broken glass.

Based on the victim’s description, police issued a lookout for a red sedan connected to the shooting. Rockmart Police quickly located the vehicle—a red Tesla—and conducted a traffic stop. During the arrest, authorities recovered a .45 caliber Glock pistol and a spent shell casing from inside the vehicle.

Fajardo-Perez, 29, now faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, reckless conduct, criminal damage to property, and discharging a firearm on a roadway. He is currently being held at Bartow County Jail while awaiting a bond hearing.

The incident is under investigation, and authorities are continuing to process the details surrounding the road rage altercation that led to the shooting.
