Malcolm Louis, 39, Arrested in Escambia on Drug Trafficking Charges

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. – A 39-year-old convicted felon, Malcolm Louis, has been arrested on multiple drug trafficking charges following a search at an Escambia County residence on Friday.

Louis, who has 23 prior felony convictions, was taken into custody and is currently being held without bond. His charges include:

Trafficking cocaine
Trafficking methamphetamine
Trafficking fentanyl
Trafficking oxycodone
Distributing synthetic cannabinoids
Drug sale
Obstructing justice
Weapon possession by a convicted felon
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a trailer home on N 48th Ave, where Louis was allegedly found attempting to flush drugs down the toilet.

Authorities seized large quantities of illegal substances, adding to the severity of the charges.

Louis remains in custody as the investigation continues.
