Main Accused in Mohammad Sardab’s Murder Arrested in Nandyal

The main suspect in the murder of Mohammad Sardab, a worker from Bihar employed at Greenko Solar near Pinnapuram village, was arrested and remanded by Nandyal police on Wednesday. Sardab was killed on 1 January 2024 after a violent attack by Ram Sagar, Raj Kishore, and Sankram. The incident occurred while Sardab was listening to music loudly on his cell phone.

According to Nandyal police, the three accused attacked Sardab with a stick, causing severe injuries. Despite receiving treatment, he later succumbed to his injuries. The primary suspect, arrested in Uttar Pradesh on 30 December 2024, has been sent to judicial remand. The other two accused were arrested earlier, on 20 January 2024, and have also been remanded.

The investigation is ongoing, with police continuing to probe the motives behind the tragic incident.
