The Madhapur Special Operations Team (SOT), in collaboration with the Raidurgam Police, successfully arrested three drug peddlers involved in supplying 620 grams of heroin paste, valued at Rs 4.65 crore. The arrested individuals, identified as Mangalaram, Dinesh Chowdhary, and Ganesh Chowdhary, are residents of Rajasthan. Along with the peddlers, five consumers who had purchased the narcotic were also apprehended.
The Madhapur DCP, Dr. Vineeth G., confirmed that the accused were sub-suppliers, and further investigations are underway to uncover the full scope of their operations. The authorities have taken strict actions to curb the drug menace in the region.
