Lorenzo Gonzalez and Camron Knipfer Arrested in Armed Burglary

VENICE, Fla. (WWSB) – Authorities in Venice have arrested two individuals, Lorenzo Aristides Gonzalez, 23, of Spring Hill, and Camron J. Knipfer, 21, of Venice, for their involvement in an armed residential burglary that occurred on January 8.

The suspects, charged with Armed Burglary of a Dwelling, Grand Theft, and Possession of Cannabis under 20 grams, allegedly broke into a residence in Venice. During the burglary, they stole firearms, a gaming console, and a vehicle.

The suspects were apprehended later that evening following an investigation. A search warrant was executed at a residence in unincorporated Sarasota County, leading to the recovery of the stolen items, including all three firearms, the gaming console, and the vehicle.

Both Gonzalez and Knipfer were taken into custody without incident and are currently being held at the Sarasota County Jail.
