Logan Clark Arrested After Armed Robbery at Sparks Scheels

Sparks Police arrested Logan Clark, 27, on Tuesday afternoon after he was involved in an armed robbery at Scheels sporting goods store. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. when a Scheels employee reported to 911 that a man had stolen a box of bullets from the store.

According to the employee, when they attempted to stop the suspect, Clark pulled out a gun and threatened the employee. He then fled on foot through the parking lot, heading southbound. Police quickly responded to the scene and located Clark at the nearby Sparks Marina.

Initially, Clark attempted to evade capture by running from officers, but he later surrendered and was taken into custody without further incident. He was booked on several charges, including robbery with a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed firearm without a permit, and resisting a police officer.

The arrest follows an ongoing effort by Sparks Police to address public safety concerns related to armed robberies in the area.
