Leslie Mabrey, 64, was arrested on December 20, 2024, after being caught with a stolen vehicle in White Bird, Idaho. The vehicle was originally stolen from Miles City, Montana. Mabrey, a registered violent offender, faces several serious charges, including felony possession of a stolen vehicle, felony battery on an officer (six counts), unlawful possession of a firearm, and resisting arrest.
Sheriff Ulmer thanked local law enforcement agencies for their assistance in the arrest. Mabrey’s charges reflect the allegations at the time of arrest, and all individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
