Leesburg Man Arrested for Meth Possession and Dealing in Cromwell

CROMWELL, Ind. — A Leesburg man was arrested on methamphetamine possession and dealing charges following a police investigation in Cromwell, according to court records.

Wayde Edward Miller, 37, of 44 EMS T34 Lane, was taken into custody by an Indiana State Police trooper on Dec. 5, 2024, after officers observed him approaching a vehicle at a residence where he was known to stay. Miller had an active warrant for prior drug-related offenses.

Police say Miller admitted to having drug paraphernalia in his room. A subsequent search revealed paraphernalia containing meth, as well as multiple bags with meth residue in his vehicle.

Miller reportedly confessed to dealing methamphetamine since June 2024, at times distributing up to half a pound per week. His prior criminal history includes a 2016 conviction for meth dealing in Kosciusko County.

He now faces the following charges:

Possession of methamphetamine (Level 6 felony)

Possession of paraphernalia (Class C misdemeanor)

Possession of methamphetamine with enhancing circumstances (Level 5 felony)

Miller was arrested and later released on bond, pending further court proceedings.
