MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A 17-year-old boy was beaten and robbed at a Frayser gas station, leading to the arrest of Lazander Mitchell, 23, and the shooting of a second suspect, according to Memphis Police (MPD).

The incident took place on February 24 at a Marathon gas station on Ontario Avenue. The teen told police that two men approached him, asking for $2 for gas. As he pulled out money, one suspect allegedly yelled, “Take everything he’s got!” The attackers stole $200 and a Glock before physically assaulting the victim.
