Lamontre Thomas Arrested for Stealing High-End Perfumes in Coral Springs
Thomas caught stealing $1,690 worth of perfume from Macy’s store.

On January 9, 2025, a man in a green shirt, dark pants, and a facemask entered Macy’s Men’s Store at Coral Square Mall and reportedly filled a black trash bag with $1,690 worth of high-end perfumes, according to a police report.

Witnesses saw the suspect running across the mall parking lot and getting into a Ford F-150 truck. Coral Springs police quickly located the vehicle on West Atlantic Boulevard and NW 85 Lane.

One of the individuals inside the truck, Lamontre Thomas, 27, of Palm Beach, admitted to being in the mall but gave unclear answers regarding his whereabouts. Macy’s surveillance footage confirmed Thomas was the suspect seen stealing the perfumes. A witness later identified him during a “show-up” procedure.

Thomas was arrested on a felony retail theft charge and taken to Broward County Jail for processing.
