Lalit Kumar Arrested for Impersonating CBI Officer in Delhi

A 25-year-old man from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, was arrested in West Delhi on Monday for allegedly impersonating a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officer. The individual, identified as Lalit Kumar, was preparing for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), according to the police.

Kumar, posing as a CBI Sub-Inspector, showed a photo of a CBI ID card on his mobile phone to support his false claims. He was intercepted by a police patrol team near Shadley Public School, Subhash Nagar, in the Rajouri Garden area, authorities reported on Wednesday.
