Lakhwinder Singh Arrested for Rs 10 Lakh Property Fraud in Ludhiana

Harjot Singh, a resident of Tanndajal village near Ludhiana, has lodged a formal complaint against Lakhwinder Singh from Miherru village in Phagwara, accusing him of defrauding Rs 10 Lakh. The police have registered a case under Section 420 of the IPC for cheating.

According to Singh’s statement, the accused took the money as an advance for a property purchase but failed to execute the sale deed. Despite the initial payment, no official sale process has taken place, and the deed remains unregistered.

The police are currently investigating the case to further probe the allegations and take appropriate legal action.
