LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) – LaCarol Henderson, 46, of Atlanta, Texas, was arrested Friday after allegedly injuring a woman during a purse theft at a Longview business.
According to a press release from the Longview Police Department, officers responded to a robbery call at a business in the 1000 block of North Eastman at around 4:40 p.m. A woman reported that Henderson attempted to steal her purse, during which the victim suffered injuries.
The victim was treated at the scene and transported by Longview Fire EMS to a nearby hospital for further care. Henderson was arrested shortly afterward and booked into the Gregg County Jail. She is being held on a $50,000 bond.
